I saw a scripture on Facebook this morning about doing what’s right and blessings. I’ll attach it later. It made me think about a true servants heart. Servants are givers by nature. They give and give and many do it with no expectations, it’s just who they are. I have a life long friend that is the most generous person I know. Her Daddy said something about her that made me giggle. “She’s so generous she’ll give you the shirt off of my own back!”
Funny but true. Servants and givers are resourceful, if they don’t have it to give they will find it and make a way for you to have it.
I hear about lottery winners and think of how much good could be done with all that money, as long as you don’t let greed slip in.
The scripture also lead me to think of another scripture about storing treasures in heaven. Oddly enough servants and givers rarely “store” anything, they give it all away. Won’t it be the same in heaven? Why would we store up treasures and blessings and keep them all to ourselves? Will some have more than others? Or will we all have abundant amounts that we will not want for anything? Which ever it is I pray to ALWAYS have a servants heart, to ALWAYS be a giver and NEVER get tired or bitter from it.
